Equipment: Dumbbell
How to do it
Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides with your palms facing forward.
Keeping your arms straight with a slight bend at the elbow, raise both dumbbells out to your sides until they reach shoulder height. Your body should form a T shape. This is the contracted position.
Hold for a count, then lower the dumbbells slowly back to your sides.
Keep your torso still throughout. Swinging the weight up means the load is too heavy.
